Pediatric Psychology
The subspecialty of pediatric psychology and therapy involves the evaluation, treatment, study and prevention of problems in children with an acute or chronic medical condition, disability or mental health problem, and their families. Pediatric Psychology Services at MWPH can be separated into the following categories:
- Collaborative Treatment for Children and Adolescents with Medical Concerns
- Individual and Family Therapy
- Group Therapy
- Psychological Testing
The Division of Psychology and Neuropsychology also has an active training program including psychology externs, interns and postdoctoral fellows. The psychology internship program is accredited by the American Psychological Association. Learn more about our psychology internship program.
Pediatric psychology services at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital are provided by or supervised by licensed psychologists specializing in pediatric psychology, with many years of experience working with children and families.
