Rehabilitation services at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital were designed by our own therapists in order to provide discipline-specific supervision and improved peer review.

Pediatric orthopedic services at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital include the evaluation and treatment of infants, children and adolescents with orthopedic disorders.

The Johns Hopkins Pediatric Sleep Center at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital offers comprehensive evaluation and care for children with sleep-disordered breathing and other sleep problems.

Autism spectrum disorder is a pervasive developmental disorder characterized by severe deficits in social interaction and communication. Difficulties are noted in thinking, feeling, language and the ability to relate to others.

Developmental coordination disorders, sometimes referred to as dyspraxia, affect the initiation, organization and performance of a movement. It involves the partial loss of the ability to perform a purposeful, coordinated movement or gesture.

Developmental delay occurs when the child has not met developmental milestones by the expected time period. Evaluations are performed by pediatric physiatrists and/or rehabilitation therapists at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital.
