A Spoonful of Storybook Celebration
Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital’s (MWPH) annual Storybook Gala took a different, yet successful, form this year due to the pandemic. On November 19-21, “A Spoonful of Storybook Celebration” provided a virtual event to supporters in the community, which included a silent auction, raffle and livestreaming dance party with nationally-known DJ Kopec. A large crowd of supporters participated in the three-day event which raised more than $390,000 (net) for the hospital.

Mt Washington Pediatric Hospital Announces New Board Member and New Board Co Chair
The Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital Board of Trustees welcomed Peter Mancino, deputy general counsel of The Johns Hopkins Health System ("Hopkins") to its board, following G. Daniel Shealer's retirement. Mr. Shealer, who had held board leadership positions including chair, retired from Hopkins where he served as Senior Vice President & General Counsel.

The post-acute hospital, a jointly owned affiliate of The University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS) and Johns Hopkins Medicine (JHM), is a trusted provider of family-focused, coordinated care to all children, including those with serious, chronic, and complex medical conditions.
