    The neonatal healthcare team rounds at your baby’s bedside on a regular basis. Parents are encouraged to be part of these discussions.

    Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital (MWPH) is a specialty and rehabilitation hospital, and is co-owned and co-operated by the University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins. The externships at MWPH are 12-month placements, although opportunities to engage in a 9-month externship may be available if space permits.

  • Constraint-Induced Movement Therapy

    The Function Can Be Fun Program at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital provides evaluation and direct skilled intervention for children who suffer with asymmetrical hand usage from various diagnoses such as cerebral palsy, neurological impairments, traumatic brain injury, strokes and brachial plexus palsy injuries.

  • Pediatric Psychiatry

    Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital's psychiatry services provide diagnosis, treatment and prevention of psychiatric disorders.

  • Pediatric Psychology

    Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital offers a wide range of pediatric psychology services provided by or supervised by licensed psychologists specializing in pediatric psychology, with many years of experience working with children and families.

  • Aquatic Therapy

    Aquatic therapy at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital or our Harford County location, uses water and its properties to perform therapeutic exercise and treatment.

  • Individual and Family Therapy

    The process of individual and family therapy at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital involves meeting with psychology staff to establish appropriate goals for treatment, and working together with the family to help make changes that improve the quality of life for child and the family.
