MWPH CMO and VP of Medical Affairs Retires after more than 20 years of Dedicated Service
Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital (MWPH) recently announced the retirement of its Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and Vice President of Medical Affairs, Richard Katz, MD, MBA, FAAP. His more than 20 years of dedicated service has enabled MWPH to evolve from a long-term nursing facility for children to a state-of-the-art, pediatric post-intensive care and multidisciplinary rehabilitation center of excellence.

On November 4, a lively and gracious group of community supporters from around the Baltimore area gathered for the 9th Annual Storybook Gala. The event, benefiting Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital (MWPH), raised $447,000 (net)—the most funds raised in the event’s history.

She has dedicated more than 40 years of service to the hospital, an extraordinary achievement that has enabled MWPH to evolve from a long-term nursing facility for children to a state-of-the-art, pediatric post-intensive care and multidisciplinary rehabilitation center of excellence.
