    Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital (MWPH) recently announced the retirement of its Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nurse Executive Denise Pudinski, MSHCA, BSN, RN, CCM, NE-BC. She has dedicated more than 40 years of service to the hospital, an extraordinary achievement that has enabled MWPH to evolve from a long-term nursing facility for children to a state-of-the-art, pediatric post-intensive care and multidisciplinary rehabilitation center of excellence.

  • Neurodevelopmental Care

    Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital offers Neurodevelopmental services for infants, toddlers, children and adolescents who have or may be at risk of having delays in any area of development including, language, behavior, motor skills and cognition.

  • Developmental Coordination Disorders

    Developmental coordination disorders, sometimes referred to as dyspraxia, affect the initiation, organization and performance of a movement. It involves the partial loss of the ability to perform a purposeful, coordinated movement or gesture.

  • Developmental Delays

    Developmental delay occurs when the child has not met developmental milestones by the expected time period. Evaluations are performed by pediatric physiatrists and/or rehabilitation therapists at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital.
