BALTIMORE, MD (April 24) - Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital (MWPH) celebrates two “Top Nurses” recognized by Baltimore magazine in its 2024 Excellence in Nursing awards.

 

MWPH nurses being honored are:

 

Kayla Kupfer, BSN, RN

Heather Lawless, RN

 

“For more than four decades, I’ve had the pleasure to work alongside some of the finest medical professionals in the world.” said Denise Pudinski, MSHCA, BSN, RN, CCM, NE-BC, MWPH’s Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nurse Executive. “This year, all of us at MWPH, are proud of Kayla and Heather who have been selected to receive this prestigious honor. It speaks to their dedication to our mission of helping our patients to heal, grow, and return home to their families and friends.”

 

Hundreds of nurse nominations were submitted and, of those, 172 were chosen in 43 nursing specialties as the best in the region.

 

The nurses will be celebrated on May 16 at Marriott Owings Mills Metro Centre and are featured in Baltimore magazine's May issue.
