We understand the special needs of children with bone, joint and muscle problems. Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital’s Pediatric Orthopaedic Services offers the evaluation and treatment of infants, children and adolescents with Orthopaedic disorders.

Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital’s Upper Extremity Clinic offers services for the evaluation and treatment of infants, children and adolescents with injuries of the hand, wrist and upper extremity in addition to the following:

  • Acquired/traumatic hand injuries
  • Acquired Brain Injury
  • Arthrogyposis
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Congenital hand conditions
  • Musculoskeletal conditions
  • Neuromuscular conditions
  • Upper Extremity Orthopaedic conditions

Treatment may include: active and/or passive range of motion, splinting, casting, use of therapeutic modalities, and a home exercise program.
