Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital provides pediatric videofluoroscopy swallow study (VFSS).  Videofluoroscopy is conducted to view pharyngeal structures, identify any abnormalities and risks, as well as determine success with compensatory strategies related to swallowing.

Children receive an assessment in order to identify and describe strengths and deficits related to their swallow/oral-motor function. This procedure is provided by a team from medicine, radiology and rehabilitation services.
