Scoliosis
Scoliosis is a medical condition that presents as an abnormal curve of the spine. It is occasionally seen in children with cerebral palsy, spinal muscle atrophy or following trauma. It may be present at birth or occur at a later onset. When the curvature progresses it requires some from of intervention. This condition is followed by orthopedists and referrals may be made to physical therapists for exercise management.
