Orthopaedic Conditions

Orthopaedic refers to the correction or prevention of bone deformities. These conditions may occur at birth or develop over time, such as is seen in some types of scoliosis. Some of the types of orthopaedic conditions treated are scoliosis, club feet, hip dysplasia, joint pain, and gait abnormalities. The Orthopaedic Clinic at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital provides consultation by orthopaedic experts in their field of care with a focus on treatment and management of the condition.
