Musculoskeletal Conditions
Musculoskeletal conditions involve the muscles of the body and components of the skeletal system. This may involve the muscles, tendons, ligaments and other soft tissues. A variety of treatments are available for treatment of these conditions and are often focused on decreasing pain, improving strength, mobility and function. An evaluation by a pediatric physiatrist, physical or occupational therapist helps to determine a treatment plan and the underlying reasons for the condition.
