A brachial plexus injury is an injury to nerves in the neck that control the shoulder, arm, hand and finger movement. This injury may also be known as Erb's Palsy, Duchenne's Palsy or Klumpke's Palsy. Brachial Plexus injuries range from mild to serious and may be temporary or permanent. An evaluation consists of a comprehensive assessment performed by a pediatric physiatrist and physical and occupational therapists.
