The purpose of this intervention is to:
- increase/maintain joint range of motion
- manage pain
- maximize mobility
- prevent the recurrence of a deformity
- increase postural support
- increase developmental progression
- protect a joint(s)
- maintain or improve skin integrity and/or
- increase/regain activities of daily living and function
