The goal of therapy services is to facilitate the patient's optimal level of function in all activities of daily living, (ADL), including self-care, home and community living skills, leisure and pre-vocation/education.
The primary objectives include: improving all performance components of ADL, including neuromuscular, oral motor and feeding, sensory, sensori-motor, cognitive, psychosocial and therapeutic adaptations; providing consultation/education, regarding splints, self-care, educational needs, positioning and assistive equipment, range of motion, etc.
