Conditions Treated: What are Feeding Disorders?

Refers to a failure to consume enough nutrients to promote healthy growth; genetic or metabolic defects causing abnormal suck and swallow patterns, management of tube feeding, disruptive mealtime behavior and diagnosis of aspiration.

These may be caused by a number of direct and indirect factors, including medical, oral-motor, sensory, appetite, and behavioral issues.
