Asthma and Respiratory Diseases
The Jack & Mae Rosenberg Center for Pediatric Respiratory Medicine at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital is an award winning facility that opened its doors in January 2000. The center is unique in that it focuses solely on children and is led by a nationally recognized pediatric pulmonologist.
The staff specializes in the treatment, prevention and study of asthma and other respiratory diseases and conditions, offering hope to thousands of asthma patients in Maryland.
At the center, the pediatric pulmonary rehabilitation program serves children with a wide range of chronic lung disease and breathing disorders. The multidisciplinary team includes a pediatric pulmonologist, psychologist, social worker, physical therapist, respiratory therapist and nutritionist. Services are provided in a family-centered outpatient environment using state-of-the-art technology and a full pulmonary function laboratory. more>
