Parking lot expansion
For immediate release: April 16, 2015
To All Visitors to Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital:
Beginning on May 4, 2015 through August 31, 2015, Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital will provide FREE valet parking service to all visitors, volunteers, visiting physicians and drivers with disability placards or plates.
The Outpatient Parking Lot will be closed temporarily and under construction for several months while we double the number of parking spaces for our Outpatient Visitors.
Once you arrive on campus, our security staff will direct you to our valet service at the circular drive in front of the main hospital. You and your family may proceed to your appointment, and our valet staff will park your car in a valet lot on the hospital property only seconds away. Due to the limited parking available on campus, we do not have the capacity for visitors to self-park. When you are ready to leave, our valet service will return your car to the circle.
Patients arriving after 6:00 p.m. or on weekends, will be directed to the Visitor Lot along the drive and behind the Rosenberg Building. A limited number of handicapped spots will be available.
Please note: Our valet service is completely trained and insured. We have staffed the service between 7:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. to provide quick access to and from your appointment. Valet tipping is not permitted.
We realize that this will be difficult for many of you. However, when we are finished with the construction, we will have ample regular and handicapped parking spaces. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
Justina Starobin, Vice President, Outpatient Services
