Fashion Fever 2013 - Recap
For immediate release: May 05, 2013
BALTIMORE, MD – Fashion Fever dazzled all who came out to the palatial Grand Lodge in Hunt Valley for the fourth annual event. The benefit for patients and programs at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital featured runway Spring fashions from area boutiques modeled by hospital supporters, patients and families. The emcee, ABC2 News anchor Kelly Swoope, kept the traffic moving on the catwalk as women, teens and toddlers all had their moment in the spotlight.
More than 70 items were featured in this year's silent auction, besting last year's amount and providing more funds for hospital clinics and programs.
"This event is really fantastic - I am very, very impressed," said one attendee.
Mt. Washington President and CEO Sheldon Stein again modeled with his young grandson, Tyler, who looked very comfortable on stage.
"I want to thank all of the hospital's supporters – because we couldn’t do what we do without your help," said Mr. Stein, referring to providing premier care to children in a family-friendly environment. He also added his thanks to the Fashion Fever committee for putting together what early estimates predict will be the largest and most successful event to date.
Fashions were provided by A Style Studio in Pikesville, Fells Point Surf Co. and Wee Chic.
