2nd Annual Storybook Gala

Description: Gala celebrating the inspiring stories of the children and the dedicated staff at MWPH that cares for them. Event includes auction, dinner and dancing. Proceeds from the Gala will help us continue to provide great care for our most precious asset, our children.

Mt. Washington Tavern Brick Project
Location: The Mt. Washington Tavern
5700 Newbury Street
Baltimore, Maryland 21209
Description: Own a piece of Mt. Washington Tavern and support children's programs at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital. Thanks to the Tavern's owners, the public can buy bricks through the Tavern website and help support a longtime neighbor.
Cost: $75 per brick with proceeds supporting the Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital.

Family Support Group
Date & Time: First & Third Tuesdays (monthly) / 6-7:30 p.m.
Light supper provided
Location: Medical Conference Room
Description: The purpose of the support group is to assist parents/caregivers in dealing with the daily issues of caring for children with special needs. All families of current and former inpatients are encouraged to attend.
Cost: Free.

Sibshops Program
Date & Time: Various times throughout the year
Location: Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital - Hospital Boardroom
Description: This unique program is designed to provide peer support for eight to 13 year-old siblings of children with special needs. The group activities provide a forum for questions and discussion in dealing with the many issues of having a special needs brother or sister.
Cost: There is a nominal charge for the four workshops - scholarships are available. Registration is required.
